Pete is an "old school" chippy... His father, who was also a carpenter, said of him, "My lad will never be a carpenter as long as he's got a hole in his arse." Despite this ringing endorsement, Pete is , in fact an excellent carpenter, and can turn his hand to anything from roof structures to kitchen cupboards.
