| Norman and his trusty mate, Ray are general building artists, who bring creativity into all of their building endeavours. The patio at Mogg Street, Bristol (pictured here) uses old concrete paving slabs rescued from the pavement outside the house. the brickwork on the base features old, scavenged bricks in a herringbone pattern, an old drainage pipe and victorian cobbles using rough stone wallbuilding techniques. Though this is a new structure, it looks as if it has been there as long as the wall behind it, because all the materials used are recycled. |
